We hiked around Schönower Heide in the North of Berlin this Sunday and everything was dusted with frost and snow. With the sun rays falling on the landscape there was really some magic in viewing this. Pavlov the dog is still a baby and just stops walking after a while. Of course we brought an extra “doggy bag” with us, to carry him around. In the evening, after all those adventures (we saw birds and deer and a lot of other dogs) he fell asleep on my wellingtons.

I think it’s even a kind of a reindeer. But I font’s really know. It’s not something which strolls German forests normally 🙂

A lovely hike – and a sweet dog! We hiked in the Swedish mountains many years ago, with our little dachshound. She also went in my rucksack – after walking 5 kilometers with those short legs…

My dog is five now and still sleeps hard after a good hike. I love the snow pictures! We actually currently have snow but your pictures make it look more magical.

Wow, that is now a winter wonderland if you ever want to see one … well, at least for us South Africans, where the sun is shining currently and temperatures are in the high 20 ºC (77 Fahrenheit). My favourite picture … hmm, it’s again one of Pavlov 😊 (where he is peeking from the “doggy bag”).
