A day with classic Scottish weather and a lot of beautiful landscape around Inverness. We started directly from our boat on the Caledonian Canal and made a big tour to the country side.

We were told that the West Highland way is more beautiful, but we did only see parts of both, so I have no proper comparison. I heard, the Great Glen Way would be less exhausting.

We didn’t do all of it, but we saw some quite beautiful parts. Also a lot of forest roads. Our camping spot near Invermorriston (Invercoil camping) was cool.
