Berlin Day Hike: Just A Little Snow Left At Volkspark Pankow

The “Botanischer Volkspark Blankenfelde-Pankow” was once the largest school garden in Berlin. It’s more than 100 years old and ready for extended walks through a great landscape. You can find fallow deer there, you can make a beekeeper training and you can have a (really great) piece of cake in a café called “Mint” situated in a wonderful glass house with tropical plants. I recommend the delicious elderflower cheesecake.

Opening times for the park: every day from sunrise to sunset. Entry 1€ (ticket machine: bring enough coins!).
Opening times for Café Mint: Fr, Sa, So and holidays from 11h-17h
