So wild and woolly there! These off the beaten track places really do call to the wild inner spirit. I loved the peat-bog in the area too.

You’re right. And that’s one thing I love about Scotland: So many places are so vast and silent and without people. I recommend looking at a Europe night shot from space and compare the Highlands to other European regions. It’s mind boggling.
